പൂച്ചയ്ക്ക് ആര് മണി കെട്ടും?

Once, a group of mice lived in the attic of a house. They shared whatever food they found and lived happily together.

One day, a cat arrived at the house and started living there. When the cat discovered the mice in the attic, it began to hunt them day and night.

The mice soon became frightened. Because of the cat’s constant attacks, they decided to hold a meeting to find a solution.

One mouse said,

“The cat hunts us all the time. We must find a way to stop this.”

Another mouse added,

“The cat moves very quietly. By the time we notice it, it is already too late to escape.”

Then a small mouse suggested an idea.

“What if we tie a bell around the cat’s neck? When the cat moves, the bell will ring and warn us.”

All the mice liked the idea very much. They thought it was a clever plan.

One mouse then said,

“The cat usually sleeps after lunch. That would be the perfect time to tie the bell.”

At that moment, an old and wise mouse asked an important question:

“The idea is good. But who will go and tie the bell around the cat’s neck?”

Suddenly, all the mice became silent. None of them were brave enough to do it.

And so, the meeting ended without any decision.

Moral :

It is easy to suggest solutions, but much harder to put them into action.
